What is the difference between Micro USB part numbers UB-MC5BR3-SD204-4S NMP, UB-MC5ABR3-SD204-4S NMP and UB-MC5BR3-SD204-4S-1 NMP, UB-MC5ABR3-SD204-4S-1 NMP?

The difference is a revision to the shape by adding a stopper in order to reduce the occurrence of cracking in the colder tails when excessive force is applied by the user from the mating plug.

What does the (F) indicate at the end of the GHD series housing part numbers [i.e. GHDR-20V-S (F)]?

Modified in 2007, the (F) indicates the housing as a "finger friendly" style to improve handling during mating and unmating operations. Please refer to the following diagram:

What does the (N) indicate on part number SYM-001T-P0.6 (N)?

As an internal JST reference to control FIFO inventory, the (N) was applied to indicate a change in the quantity per reel from 7,500 pieces to 8,500 pieces.

The data sheets, product specifications and drawings will not indicate this internal reference though it is likely to be shown on the package labeling, packing lists and invoices to customers who purchase this item.

What does the suffixed (NSA) on the JMC series recepatacles indicate?

The (NSA) indicates a modification made to the guide ribs of the receptacle to help prevent breakage during accidental, slantwise mating cycles instead of the proper straight mating method as well as the inclusion of a Nickel stripe to help prevent solder from traveling up the contact during the reflow process.
